Questions
The marble misses the key I just placed
Keep dragging until the strike marker on the dotted path sits on the key, then let go. The path is the real run, not a sketch. If the marble clips the edge, shorten the key or rotate it with the handle so the top face is what it hits.
It sounds wrong or clashy
Open the menu in the top bar and check the scale. Leave it on a pentatonic and every note fits. Chromatic is the only scale that can clash. Changing the scale snaps every placed key to the nearest note of the new one.
How do I delete a key?
Drag it back over the tray. A bin appears while you drag. Undo is in the top bar if that was a mistake.
Where are my machines?
On the home screen, behind the back chevron or the machine's name in the top bar. Tap the pencil to rename one, swipe left to delete one, and use Undo in the toast if you did not mean it. Machines live on the phone only. Uninstalling the app deletes them, so share a clip if you want a copy elsewhere.
I got lost on the canvas
The canvas is open in every direction. Whenever the launcher is off screen a Start button appears at the top right and brings you back to it. Opening any machine also starts you at the launcher.
Dragging feels slow
Open About from the sliders icon on the home screen and set Graphics to Low. It turns off the glow and soft shadows and keeps dragging quick. Auto picks a level for your phone, and you can switch back to High at any time.
Export is slow
A clip is a real render at 1080 by 1920 and 30 frames a second, with audio, not a screen recording. Leave the phone awake until the share sheet appears. Save Video in that sheet puts it in your Photos. If it fails, try a shorter machine and write to us with the device and OS version. Clips carry a small marblemusic.app mark in the corner.
Does it work on iPad and tablets?
Yes. Tablets get their own layout. Landscape is not supported.
Can I import a MIDI file or a song?
Not in this version. One public-domain nursery rhyme comes built in to show what a finished machine looks like. Everything else is yours to build.
I want a refund
Purchases go through Apple or Google. Use the refund flow of the store you bought from. We cannot reverse a store charge from here.
I want my data deleted
The app keeps nothing about you on our side. The only data that leaves the phone is the install attribution described in the privacy policy. To have that deleted, open About in the app, tap the version line five times to copy your device id, and email it to us.
